Outpatients waiting area and appointment rooms (Altrincham Hospital)
A hospital waiting area and corridor space which can be used out of hours weekdays and at weekends, making the perfect backdrop for a filming project requiring a waiting area in a hospital setting. A smaller waiting room is also available, along with appointment rooms for any scenes which might require a patient and doctor interaction.
Trust headquarters and campus buildings
Cobbett House and the surrounding Oxford Road buildings give productions a hospital campus setting, including the entrance the Trust calls home.
Training wards (Oxford Road, Manchester)
Our training wards can be booked for filming outside of students’ learning sessions. They are replicas of functional hospital wards, but without patients.
Empty wards (Manchester Royal Infirmary)
A number of empty ward areas at Manchester Royal Infirmary are available for productions needing clinical space without patients.
Oxford Road campus exterior
The exterior of our city centre campus, including entrances and shared outdoor spaces, is available for exterior shots.
Cobbett House meeting rooms
Our Trust headquarters provides boardroom and corridor spaces for productions needing a corporate setting.
Laboratory and clinical photography studios
Our laboratory spaces and clinical photography studios are available for productions needing scientific or behind-the-scenes hospital settings. Colleagues in the studios can demonstrate how clinical photography and medical illustration work.
Laboratory space
Laboratory areas are available for productions needing scientific or research settings.
Patient advice office and information graphics
The PALS team’s offices and information graphics, including the PALS illustration, are available as a setting for productions showing hospital support services.
Period and heritage spaces
Our historic buildings include a disused basement and stained glass windows from the old Saint Mary’s, giving productions an atmospheric period setting.
