Armed forces covenant

We are proud to support the armed forces community. Mental health problems are common and can affect anyone, including veterans and their families, and support is available.

Operation Courage

Operation Courage is a dedicated service for veterans across Greater Manchester offering a single point of access to mental health care. The service supports veterans, reservists and their families with assessment, treatment and signposting to other organisations.

Transition Intervention and Liaison Service (TILS)

TILS supports veterans who need help with their mental health, and their families. The team offers a friendly and confidential service, and can also advise other clinicians caring for veterans.

Our recognition

The Trust has been recognised with an Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award for its commitment to the armed forces community, and we continue to employ and support veterans and reservists across our hospitals.
